Talkmax is built around the idea that your conversations belong to you. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the controls available to you.
Information we collect
Account basics like phone number, display name, and device type. Message content is end-to-end encrypted and never readable by Talkmax.

- Display name and optional profile photo
- Device identifiers for security and sync
- Diagnostic data you choose to share
How we use it
We use account data to deliver messages, sync devices, prevent abuse, and improve reliability. We do not sell personal data.
Your controls
- Export or delete your account at any time
- Manage contact-sync permissions
- Control who can find you by phone number
- Opt out of optional diagnostics
Data retention
Account metadata is retained while your account is active. On deletion we purge personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
