Welcome to TalkMax!

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the TalkMax mobile application, web platform, APIs, and related services (collectively, the “Services”).

By installing or using TalkMax, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please refrain from using our Services.

Our Services

TalkMax provides a secure messaging and calling platform that allows you to send messages, share media, and make voice or video calls with your contacts who also use TalkMax.

We continuously improve the app to enhance your communication experience.

We may occasionally introduce, remove, or modify features. Your continued use of TalkMax means you agree to such updates.

Eligibility and Account Registration

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your region) to use TalkMax.

You must use your own mobile number to register. Optionally, you may link your email address for verification or recovery.

You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your details updated.

You are responsible for all activities on your account and device.

If you change your number, you can update it in-app after verification via OTP.

Privacy and Data Protection

Your privacy is important to us.

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you use TalkMax.

By agreeing to these Terms, you also agree to our Privacy Policy.

Using TalkMax

You agree to use TalkMax only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

You may not use our Services to:

Engage in illegal, harmful, threatening, or harassing behavior.

Send spam, impersonate others, or distribute false or misleading content.

Upload malware, viruses, or malicious code.

Collect information about other users without consent.

Attempt to reverse-engineer or exploit the app or servers.

If we believe your actions violate these Terms or applicable laws, we may restrict or terminate your account.

Your Messages and Content

You own the messages, media, and content you send via TalkMax.

End-to-end encryption: Your personal messages and calls are protected so that no one — not even TalkMax — can read or listen to them.

We may store encrypted messages temporarily (e.g., when a message cannot be delivered immediately). They are automatically deleted once delivered or after 30 days.

Metadata such as timestamps or contact identifiers may be retained to support delivery, security, and abuse prevention.

Device and Permissions

To function properly, TalkMax may require access to:

Contacts (to show which friends are on TalkMax)

Microphone and camera (for voice/video calls)

Storage (for saving shared media)

You can control these permissions in your device settings. Denying access may limit certain features.

Software and Updates

You must use the official TalkMax app downloaded from authorized sources (Google Play, App Store, or our website).

Updates may be released periodically to fix bugs, improve security, or add features. You agree to install such updates to continue using the Services.

Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

Violate these Terms or applicable laws;

Create risk, harm, or legal exposure for TalkMax or others; or

Remain inactive for an extended period.

You can delete your account at any time via Settings > Help > Delete Account.

When you delete your account, your messages, media, and profile data are permanently removed from our active servers within 30 days.

Intellectual Property

TalkMax and its logo, design, and software are the property of Coretus Technologies Pvt. Ltd.

You may not copy, distribute, or modify any part of the Service without our written consent.

You retain ownership of your content; we only use it to deliver the Service.

Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

TalkMax is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, data accuracy, or error-free operation.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of TalkMax.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Rajkot/Gujarat.

Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. When we make significant changes, we’ll notify you in-app or via email.

Continued use of TalkMax after such updates means you accept the new Terms.
